Hierapolis


Romans liked so much Pamukkale and its hot water vertue that they build a huge city on top of it. You can see here a map of what the city looked like.



Unfortunately, the city had been destroyed by an earthquake and only ruins remain. The most interesting part is the amphitheater and its stage.

    C'est pas mal vos week-ends, dites moi.
    De quoi s'en mettre plein les yeux.

    Je me dis quand mêmeque, à la fin de l'escalier vers le ciel, une petite buvette avec une boisson fraiche doit etre bien venue pour les enfants, parce que, quand même, une balade sous un ciel comme ça, ça donne soif !

    Une petite pensée pour tous ceux qui portent un manteau en ce moment.
